Ayurveda is an ancient wisdom that has been in practice in India since over 3,000 years. Loosely translated, Ayurveda means “the science of life” (ayur=life, veda=science). the Barva family, own an ancestral farm in Vita, a beautiful village in Satara district. Our farm has been certified organic since the past 32 years. We have a deep understanding not only about the techniques of organic farming, but also its importance for the betterment of the environment at large, which comprises all other living creatures, such as the bacteria & worms in the soil, birds, animals, and aquatic animals.
